We have a great opportunity for an early childhood teacher in the Queanbeyan area

The centre provides education and care for children through a range of tailored long day care programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework including a range of educational programs, excursions and family activities designed to promote each child’s cognitive and social development.

The educators work with the children to build and foster each of their individual qualities and developmental needs recognising the importance of a personalised approach.

The centre is equipped with large natural play areas, along with a vegetable garden used to get the children interacting with outdoor areas. The centre also has a sustainability program focused on promoting sustainable interactions with the environment.

The Role:

  • Part Time (37.5 hours) / Permanent
  • Develop and maintain effective collaborative and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Support the development, planning and implementation of a quality educational program.

Essentials for the role:

  • Relevant experience working with children and and ACECQA approved ECT qualification
  • Current Teacher Accreditation Number - NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
