Education Project Developer

Randstad Education is proud to be working together with this great not for profit organisation that partners with schools and school systems to support school improvement. In order to do so our client has developed an innovative education model as well as a step by step program to support the implementation of this education model in schools.

This organisation is rapidly growing and currently working with over 40 schools in 3 states. They have an experienced team of professionals who support the school team, students and parents to effectively deliver the innovation model.

They are currently looking for a Project Developer with an Education background who is able to manage multiple small to medium size projects at the same time, while navigating them through their innovative education model. The program development team works across the strategy, design, build, implement and operate phases to deliver new products and services.

About the role

  • Fulltime, asap start and based in Cairns
  • Own and coordinate the delivery of projects and follow the organisation’s innovation model to deliver projects on time and in line with client expectations
  • Lead small to medium scale innovation and continuous improvement projects from start up to closing
  • Support team member to ensure the organisation’s innovation model is embedded in all aspects of the project work across the organisation
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, liaise with partners and report progress to project owners and clients.

About you


  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Hold a Tertiary Degree in Education, business, economics, engineering, public policy or a related discipline.
  • Have an Education background or have worked in the Education sector before.
  • Have outstanding organisation skills as well as great planning, analytical, research, collaboration, written and oral communication skills.
  • Have empathy with less advantaged people and a desire to see them gain access to the same opportunities as other Australians.
  • Hold a valid Blue Card (working with children check) or have the ability to obtain one.
