Join this Australian EPC who specialises in providing project engineering and construction services for Utility Projects across Australia. Having a long term presence in the industry, a national presence and a loyal client base across Australia, they have extensive experience in delivering turnkey solutions to a wide range of both major and minor infrastructure projects. They boast one of the largest and most experienced multi-disciplined engineering teams across the country - out of Adelaide.

About the role

This role would be responsible for providing environmental support and advice to the operations team to ensure compliance with environmental obligations. To ensure compliance to WHS legislation as well as ensuring company policies and procedures are achieved.

Achieving legislative environmental benchmarks is key to this role. This is a hands on role being the environmental specialist for the firm. Training, assisting, mentoring and enforcing policy are key responsibilities.

Duties

  • Actively supporting and participating in a range of environmental and safety initiatives
  • Compliance – with a focus on Environmental Management
  • Experience in improving and or implementation of best practices in environmental management systems and HSE

Skill and experience

  • Degree in Environmental Science or Equivalent
  • Relevant WHS qualifications
  • 3+ years relevant experience working in construction, energy
  • Hands on environmental management experience with sufficient experience also within WHS
  • Advanced Excel and Word
  • Current Class C Drivers License
