Our client’s are a small financial business in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD who provide strategic advice to both the government and corporate sector. In this role you will have the opportunity to support two Directors who share a wealth of knowledge across the government and financial services sector.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Processing expenses for staff
  • Sending monthly accounts to clients
  • Screening calls, enquiries and requests
  • Function and meeting room coordination
  • Dealing with incoming mail, faxes and post
  • Dealing with highly reputable stakeholders
  • Management and coordination of electronic diaries
  • Organising travel schedules both domestic and international
  • Collating and producing documents, reports and presentations
  • Providing general administration duties to contribute to the team and company environment

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • General business acumen
  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively
  • Experience in all Microsoft Applications with efficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must remain a high level of integrity and professionalism and deal with sensitive information
  • Experience in the government/political, legal or economical industries will be highly regarded.
