Role Summary
Provides administrative and secretariat support to Boards and Committees.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provides executive, secretarial and administrative support to Boards and Committees.
• Arranges diary appointments and meetings, travel, itineraries and accommodation on behalf of the Board or Committee.
• Organises functions, including meetings and social events, as required, including venues, accommodation, catering, equipment and transportation.
• Maintains the submissions and decisions register and monitors outstanding action items arising from correspondence, email, meetings etc. ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up occurs.
• Assists with key meetings including, agenda preparation, coordination of presentations and submissions and minute taking.
• Attends Board and Committee meetings to provide executive support, including taking of minutes and recording of actions.
• Liaises with and maintains effective networks with government agencies, the private sector and non-government organisations and other external stakeholders.
• Undertakes research and information gathering as requested.
• Maintains confidential records as required.
• Undertakes credit card reconciliation.
• Manages the receipt and distribution of all incoming mail and where appropriate, drafts responses.
• Provides support to the other officers of the Secretariat unit.
• Liaises with key stakeholders on behalf of the Board or Committee.
