Right now, due to growth within the business, a leading cosmetics organisation is seeking an outstanding Export Sales Manager to join! Our client is an Australian owned company that has a fantastic product offering and takes pride in their fantastic work culture.

Each of their brands are against animal testing and have stood the test of time in the Australian market, with product ranges growing year on year, this company is set to soar.

Reporting to the Managing Director & National Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for growing export sales in key international regions which include; Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, NZ and Hong Kong to name a few. You will liaise directly with retail and distributor accounts to increase the sales capacity of the company’s products. Keep in mind, international travel is imminent with up to 10 O/S trips per year.

You will be responsible for managing and developing both new and existing customer relationships focusing on business opportunities, as well as managing sales and trade spend forecasting, pricing and contract negotiations.

Driving the complete category offering, key targets will be implementing sales strategies to build on established sales channels, whilst implementing front of market activity to engage on all consumer touch points.

Success in this role will ideally come from demonstrated experience from within either retail sales role selling into an international market, or a pure export management role from within the FMCG industry. Degree qualified (not a must), you will possess a high level of communication and presentations skills, accompanied with an enthusiastic attitude to working in a team environment.

  • A proven track record in achieving targets
  • A solid understanding of the Import & Export/Freight forwarding
  • Motivation to take on a role that challenges your limits and rewards hard work
  • Success in this role will come from leveraging from your background in a brand management role within the FMCG or Pharma space
  • You will have worked within FMCG, preferably the beauty industry
  • You will be proactive & passionate
  • You will be a strong team player
  • You will commit to O/S travel when required (up to 10 times per year)
  • You will ideally be bilingual (Cantonese, mandarin)
  • Possess a strong eye for international trends specifically within the Asia Pac market
  • You will have the understanding and familiarity of documentation process’ and various statutory requirements
