About

A top tier Engineering firm, known for their innovative and sustainable solutions, are seeking an experienced and career driven Facilities Coordinator to take the next step in their career. Our client has a fast paced and diverse environment, with over 600 people within the CBD office and over 500 offices spread across 40 different countries.

The Role

As the Facilities 2IC, you will be reporting into the Sydney Facilities Manager. This is a newly created role due to the forever growing business with the purpose of providing high quality service to the CBD office.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide range of Facilities services within the Sydney office
  • Provide support and assistance to the Facilities Manager, and cover in his absence
  • Coordinate both reactive and scheduled maintenance of all tenanted areas and equipment
  • Conduct regular tenancy audits to ensure compliance with WHS obligations and policies
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our services
  • Manage adhoc requests for assistance from the business and other team members
  • Administer the security access system in liaison with Building Management
  • Manage our print/production services and stationery stock levels
  • Assist in planning and delivering staff and external functions in our main breakout space
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in monitoring and managing costs to meet budget
  • Work with whole of Facilities team to maintain a tidy, safe and functional agile working environment
  • General administration when required.

Skills Required

This role requires a high level of communication, attention to detail and time management skills as you will be in a very fast paced and busy role.

In addition you will have:

  • Facilities Coordination experience is a must
  • Ability to deliver strong customer service at all times
  • Strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety
  • Resilience when faced with challenges
