Our client is a prominent and established engineering group who are relocating later this year. As a result, they are looking to appoint a Facilities Co-ordinator in early July to join the team in Adelaide. This position would ideally suit someone who can work part-time pre & post relocation with a full time commitment throughout the relocation period. Overall, a 4 month contract is estimated. Interviews will be held over the next few weeks.

Reporting to the business manager, you will provide overall support through the planning, execution and "make good" phase of the relocation of their business operations which includes some sophisticated equipment. You will support the manager with planning and commercial arrangements as well as be a communicator back into the business with progress. You will liaise with the landlord, suppliers/removalists and the business and provide your commercial experience with management of suppliers and pricing/quotes. There will be relevant administration to take accountability for and decision making in conjunction with management.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Any relevant professional qualification
  • Previous Building Facilities Officer/Co-ordinating experience with relocation and "make good" experience a distinct advantage
  • Experience in contracts management
  • Proven capabilities in efficient data/info management
  • Proven ability to managing mutiple tasks
  • Have sound Microsoft office capabilities, understanding of excel a must
  • A working knowledge of Australian standards
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • A consultative approach with excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience in effective stakeholder engagement and management
