The National Disability Insurance Agency is a relatively new and expanding organisation. This Agency is in an exciting stage of growth and looking to attract a Property and Security Officer with demonstrated experience in facilities managment.

As part of a small team, there will be a considerable level of internal and external stakeholder engagement.

The Property & Security Officer will be the first point of contact for NDIA staff with regards to property
matters and will need to provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of all
enquiries and issues.

Highlights of the role:

  • Responsible for high level administrative assistance to support day to day activities within the office.
  • The Property & Security Officer role will be the first point of contact for NDIA staff with regards to property matters and will need to provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of all enquiries and issues.
  • Be required occasionally to increase efforts in order to meet tight operational deadlines

**Please note that the role may require some interstate travel.**

Desirable

  • It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
  • Previous experience in working in a Commonwealth property environment including facilities managment

Duties:

  • Provide thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level administrative support to the Enabling Service Team.
  • Work under limited direction.
  • Support the Enabling Service Team to rollout the full scheme property plan.
  • Support day to day property activities of the NDIA Large Regional Hub.
  • Monitor and resolve property issues which come in through the property in-box.
  • Additional duties as directed by the branch and/or group manager.
