Randstad is proud to be partnering with a government department to recruit for multiple finance officer positions. We are looking for a reliable, organised and experienced candidate available for a May start.

Your specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support for the monthly financial reporting
  • Strong background in accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring of daily revenue raised and debts cleared
  • Create and maintain purchase orders
  • Invoicing and receipting
  • Account adjustments

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience within a State of Federal Government organisation is highly desirable
  • Advanced SAP skills and experience
  • High Level Attention to Detail with a flair for administrative tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level, including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving and follow up skills
  • A task driven, "can do" attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
