About the role:

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for 15 casual staff members. Some key duties include:

  • The supervision of all Bar Attendants/Wait Staff for all events & performances.
  • Ensuring all operating bars is ready and fully stocked prior to service.
  • Creating an efficient & systematic hiring and rostering of staff for the successful delivery of all bar and events operations in the Centre.
  • To be responsible for all daily takings, banking and POS/float reconciliation.
  • To have a ‘hands on’ attitude and to work as one team.
  • Working collaboratively with the Operations Manager to continually revise and assess the food & beverage selection and supplier relationships, ensuring they are in line with current industry trends.

About you:

To be success for the role you will have had experience within the food & beverage industry and have a passion to work within the live performance, arts, entertainment and/or events industry.

  • Proven ability to supervise, develop, motivate and provide leadership to staff and work effectively as part of a team
  • Well-developed verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise successfully with a diverse client and patron base while providing a high level of customer service
  • Have a ‘get up and go’ attitude; be reliable and self-managed
  • Willing to learn and contribute new ideas to the team
  • Interest in the arts and entertainment industry
