The new financial year is upon us which brings new and exciting opportunties within the policy space of Federal Government. Various Government Departments require experienced Social Policy Officers and Managers to develop constructive policy solutions and recommendations to Government. To be considered for these roles you will be able to:


  • Provide high quality policy advice and analysis
  • Influence, shape and guide the development of social policy
  • Effectively engage valuable stakeholders beneficial to policy development & improvement





Your skills and experience in policy will include:

  • expertise in social policy, negotiation and written communication skills
  • an understanding of the Government policy processes
  • experience in writing effecitve and consice briefs and submissions
  • tailoring documents to respond to various audiences, including senior public servants, ministers and parliamentarians
  • an ability to undertake deep analysis on topics relevant to the pertinent social issue determined for improvement
  • motivation to drive innovative ideas

Successful candidates will be subject to a National Police Check, with a Security Clearance desirable.
