This is the first year the business is committed to running a Graduate Program in Australia and two other APAC countries. The role includes building the strategy, capability frameworks, recruitment, rotation / placement management and the development program. What a fabulous launch pad for the following year where you can reshape, broaden and evolve the global program.
Reporting into Exec HR team as part of the Learning function, this role is for an experienced graduate manager either looking to build their own or to add ‘global’ to their remit for the first time. This is not for a first time graduate program manager. Working in a complex international business, and getting the program off the ground will take nous, technology know-how, knowledge of the graduate recruitment market, and ability to engage with senior stakeholders. The international piece will also be unique, managing a pilot group of experienced employees wanting to learn about the Australian business and develop stronger international relationships.
Key capabilities for this role to be a success will include:
- Extensive Graduate Recruitment Program Management experience with large business
- Creative, strategic and passionate about early careers and development
- Project management and Executive stakeholder engagement
- Management of project team and resources
- Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce (not essential)
To ensure your success, you will have recent deep experience and passion working with Graduate programs, a proven track record delivering projects of work in complex and diverse environments, have the ability to work seamlessly across all levels of the organisation and think strategically with innovative ideas to improve the programs over time.
