One of our major clients is currently seeking a talented Group Sales Manager to join our team in Tasmania, on a full-time/ permanent basis.

This role is responsible for the strategic delivery of revenue across a portfolio of services offered by our esteemed organization. You will lead, develop and coach the sales team across businesses supported by the Hub in order to achieve the agreed sales targets in each business.

You will be vital in driving relationship building within the community and customers, in order to sustain the long term commercial viability and maximize all sales opportunities.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully motivating, coaching and managing the sales teams across businesses supported by the Hub.
  • In conjunction with the senior leadership team in each business, the COO and other team members, designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands businesses customer base and ensure it's strong presence aligned to agreed brand.
  • Assistance with recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Running weekly sales session in the centralized sales Hub.
  • Leading sales review 'sprints' with each supported business on a periodic basis.
  • Plan, lead and participate operational plans for winning key target customers in Tasmania, nationally and overseas if necessary.
  • Contribute to other strategic projects as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong business sense and broad industry exposure
  • Successful previous experience as a sales leader, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Exposure to the SMB sector; leadership roles or ownership in the SMB sector would be considered highly.
  • Extensive experience working in Corporate and Consulting is huge plus
