Reporting to HR Manager, you will work closely with HR staff to determine priorities, provide support and implement HR initiatives. Your regional responsibilities will necessitate a high degree of autonomy and you will have strong negotiation and relationship building skills. You will have broad generalist responsibilities pertaining to:

  • The provision of advisory services in the areas of IR, ER, legislation, contemporary HR practices, company policy and advice
  • Recruitment, performance management, coaching and counseling and investigations
  • Coaching supervisors and line managers to build their people management capabilities and skill-set
  • Ensuring strategic people initiatives are fulfill local site and corporate objectives
  • Providing the HR Manager with relevant site insight and analytics

This position is based in a manufacturing site in Kingaroy, Regional Queensland. Supporting manager with cultural change initiatives you will be a strong communicator with the ability to achieve desired outcomes. Skilled in project management, you will be action orientated with well-developed commercial acumen. It is expected that you will be tertiary qualified supported and hold experience in a manufacturing or a blue collar, multi – site environment.
