A great opportunity has arisen for an HR professional to join a family owned organisation based in Blacktown. Reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer this role plays a vital role in the effective running of both the HR and payroll function of this organization.

As HR Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for employees regarding any payroll and/or HR enquiries.
  • Liaising with the outsourced payroll provider regularly
  • Processing increases and calculations of back pays
  • Assisting with the reconciliation and payment of superannuation, payroll and tax
  • Ensuring all payroll paperwork is correct and submitted on time.
  • Maintaining the payroll database and setting up new employees.
  • Coordinating all training and development activities including compiling materials and updating employee files
  • Assisting with recruitment coordination - job postings, reference checks, medicals, police checks etc.
  • Updating polices and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain up to date HR reports and charts
  • Assisting with HR projects as required

  • A confident approach to HR
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • The ability to develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
