The local council are looking for an experienced, generalist HR Officer to support HR activities and provide advice to stakeholders on topics including:

  • Recruitment and selection;
  • On-boarding;
  • HR systems administration;
  • HR reporting;
  • Benefits and wellbeing;
  • Learning and development;
  • HR legislation and policies.

To be successful in this position, your skillset will include the following:

  • Experience within an HR role, with a strong understanding of HR administration and processes;
  • The ability to complete tasks within tight timeframes and the flexibility to respond to changing priorities;
  • Strong written communication with excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders and work within a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of HR and Recruitment systems.

This is a full-time, temporary position starting ASAP for initially 6-8 weeks. Flexibility on working days or hours will be considered, if required.
