Outstanding opportunity to join Carrier the international leader in High Technology Heating, Air
Conditioning and Refrigeration solutions.

Located in Macquarie Park Sydney, the Account Manager reports to the State Services
Manager overseeing HVAC business development sales/opportunities and Key Accounts.

Primary function of the Account Manager is achieving individual and company
sales objectives through active promotion of our professional organisation that delivers quality
service and maintenance of Commercial air conditioning equipment, control systems and
projects.


The Account manager additionally provides service team leadership and
local operational direction to branch operations, ensuring efforts are directed to maintaining and developing opportunities in signing up for preventive and maintenance contracts.


The mandate requires expertise across client management, business operations, strong
technical background and in the HVAC mechanical services industry.

Key skills required

  • Achieving individual service sales budgets/objectives for the Branch
  • Generating sales, hand in hand with account management of the service Contracts
  • Promote and professionally deliver Carrier service offerings to new and existing Carrier customers;
  • Work with Service, Projects and Maintenance Managers and other Account Managers collaboratively
  • Provide a high level of technical support to internal and external clients
  • Visitation and ongoing communication with clients
  • Liaise with technicians and site contacts for purposes of submitting timely quotations for additional works;
  • Be aware of overall Company financial objectives and work proactively to achieve those goals;
  • Identify and develop relationships with existing and new customers, sub-contractors and suppliers;
  • Together with the Service Manager, complete scheduled reviews of Service Technician's personal performance and performance measurements;
  • Resolve customer service and account disputes in a timely manner as they arise;
  • Maintain effective communication at all times with Service Controller in relation to field technician’s movements.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with your “designated client base” create revenue growth through generation strategies to successfully achieve set revenue targets.
  • Maintain at all times a proactive approach to your “designated client base”, as well as sharing initiatives with team as required to assist Branch in achieving goals.

Leading by example and motivating the team whilst maintaining company standards is
paramount to success in this role. Demonstrating ethical and professional behaviors will earn
the respect of customers and colleagues.

As a central team member presentation and strong communications required due to
consistent interaction with executives, senior leaders, team members and clients.

Communication must be clear and concise and demeanor approachable given the close
working relationships with teams. Intricate levels of coordination and organisation require
detailed and accurate orientation to be successful.
