Internal Audit - Investigations

Summary

6 month contract with potential to extend a further 6 months, based in Parramatta with a competitive daily rate. The role is evidence gathering, conducting investigations of suspected/alleged fraud, inappropriate and corrupt and corresponding with ICAC.

You will be an informed investigator and will have the following responsibilities:

The Role

  • Conduct investigations of suspected/alleged fraud, inappropriate and corrupt conduct
  • Ensure compliance with Independent Commission Against Corruption Act and Public Interest Disclosures Act
  • Identify control improvements following investigations
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Head of Audit & Assurance on investigations activities
  • Internal and external stakeholder management and build effective relationships
  • Maintain a database of complaints and allegations received

You

  • Relevant qualifications at tertiary level
  • Detailed experience in investigating fraud and corruption and leading internal audits
  • Understanding of ICAC legislation and Protected Disclosure Act
  • Ability to influence and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to get a National Criminal Records Check
