This well established Australian construction firm specialises in varied commercial projects within new build, fit out and high spec residential homes

With 25 staff the 2 directors work closely with their employees empowering them with interesting work and training staff to not just be a "normal" CA doing the boring tasks

A tightly knit team culture means that you will be supported and mentored by more senior people within the business and you will be able to experience the full project life-cycle. The company is looking to expand and works on projects from $500k - $5million

They have established in house systems including Jobpac and Tenderfield and the directors have been trained at large construction companies themselves

Key responsibilities

The role as a contract administrator requires you to work as part of a project delivery team on varied commercial projects.

Responsibilities include;

  • Deliver projects up to $5million.
  • Manage, liaise and coordinate subcontractors
  • Ensure project is delivered on time and on cost.
  • Work closely with site managers and directors
  • Ensure compliance with all on site regulations.
  • Assist with tender preparation
  • Provide accurate and timely submission of progress, variation & contractual claims
  • Work with subcontractors and SM's to determine the most cost effective way to let packages

Skills and Experience

  • Record of dealing with commercial/retail projects from $500k plus
  • High level of planning and organisational skills.
  • Track record of liaising closely with PM’s and Subcontractors
  • Demonstrate excellent team working skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record working both in a team and individually
