A large and prestigious Engineering firm is seeking an experienced and outcomes focused Lead Project Administrator to join their CBD team. The Role

As the Project Administrator you will leading 3 Project Administrators as well as providing high level administration support to the Civil Infrastructure team. You will be supporting a large project team, so this would be a great role for anyone seeking to work in a fast paced environment.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Providing a high level of administration support
  • Ensuring that the project is running in compliance with the requirements
  • Setting up new starters in the system
  • Providing guidance to the project team
  • Document control (not essential - exposure would be great)
  • Maintaining and integrating project plans
  • Tracking and reporting project progress
  • Administering the project budget
  • Training and performance management
  • Monitoring resource utilisation
  • Performing quality reviews
  • Travel bookings
  • Expenses
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Arrange and co-ordinate team meetings
  • Liaising with key project participants

Skills Required

This role requires a high level of communication, attention to detail and administration skills.

In addition, you will have:

  • At least 3-5 years experience in project administration
  • People management experience
  • Intermediate - Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Resilient when faced with challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
