Working as part of the Education division, the purpose of the Melbourne Schools Manager is to lead the team in sales generation, client and candidate management and strategic thinking to grow our Schools desks in both perm and CRT.

You will lead the Melbourne Schools team and work closely with the national schools team to focus on a growth strategy for Victoria.

About the job

Due to the growth in the Education market, we have an exciting role available in our Schools team in Melbourne. You will have the ownership of running and growing our Schools business while having the best tools and technology to succeed and being supported by an experienced manager and team.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Identifying, developing and managing both new and existing client relationships; providing exceptional consultative service to candidates and clients;
  • Searching, assessing and interviewing candidates from a variety of sources.
  • Your ultimate goal is to establish and develop business relationships with your target clients and find the best available talent for both permanent and temporary jobs in the Schools sector across Victoria.

We are looking for a recruitment consultant who is interested in their first leadership role or a team leader who wants to take a managers position. In this role, you will be continually developed and will be given your own personal development plan so you can map your growth within the organisation.

Candidate profile experience

  • Recruitment background or experience
  • Success in client engagement, relationship management and growing sales revenue
  • Self-motivated, eager to be the best and able to multitask
  • Consistent record of client attraction strategies and quality lead generation
  • An excellent communicator with an outgoing personality, a positive attitude and a professional presentation
  • Passionate about business development and creative and driven to grow your desk
