This national organisation is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join their team for a permanent opportunity.
As the Marketing Communications Manager you will work closely with the Communications team and operating as the key marketing contact for the Sydney regions and overseeing the eight additional regions across Australia.
The Marketing Communications Manager will also:
  • Execute campaigns and marketing requirements for commercial events for the Sydney region.
  • Manage Sydney regions new and existing industry sponsor relationships
  • Analyse Sydney regions implementation and overall success of local campaigns and programs
  • Research and write industry news articles for the Sydney region that will feature in the fortnightly electronic newsletter to local members
  • Update and implement communication strategies for the regions
  • Ensure all nine regions have correct branding and messaging in line with the corporate voice
  • In conjunction with the National Manager Corporate Partnerships, update and maintain regional sponsorship packages to ensure they complement national offerings
  • Manage the team of regional Communications Coordinators to successfully execute high quality programs across the regions, ensuring a positive experience for the members
  • Develop and work with the communications team to implement high impact annual communications and event plans that maximize outcomes and leverage a variety of partnerships
  • Work with the public policy team to leverage opportunities and deliver policy messages through regional communication channels
The Marketing Communications Manager will will be a confident and talented marketing professional with a positive, determined, proactive and performance-driven attitude and will also have:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar senior marketing/communications role
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or similar field is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience building positive internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading a team of staff
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to achieving quality outcomes
  • Ability to conduct negotiations, influence and interact with senior colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to make sound judgements
  • Committed team player with strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Performs work autonomously, demonstrates initiative
  • Excellent relationship management skills
