It is very important to note: this is NOT a safety or change management role, it IS a Project Manager/Program Manager who has experience with change and understands how important safety systems are in such an industry.

TfNSW are going through a major change with their safety system, process and culture and urgently require an experienced Program Manager to develop Project Management Methodologies and deliver the change.

The role needs someone that has extensive experience in managing senior stakeholders within long standing pre existing engineering functions and resistance from pockets that will present a certain challenges.

You will analyse the existing structure and create a unique methodology and approach to engage GM level to anticipate this framework change.

Foremost, you will have extensive experience as a Delivery Project/Program Manager and will have endured problamatic stakeholders, secondly, you will have experience in major change programs and also importantly you will have exposure to critical safety systems and procedures.

A background from industries such as Transport, Aviation, Mining, Oil and Gas or an industry where there has been change and safety is a critical component and coming from businiss improvement (not IT) would be advantageous.

This is a 12 month contract that will be extended for up to three years. Ideally start mid - end of July but could hold out a little longer for the textbook candidate.

Based in a Sydney CBD office, this role has a daily rate in the vicinity of $1,000 per day + super
