Music Teacher primary school | Vocal & Instrumental



Are you an enthusiastic professional music teacher and looking for the next step in your career?

Randstad is currently recruiting an experienced qualified music teacher that has worked with the Kodály method before.

About the role

  • Prep to year 6
  • Teaching music using the Kodály method
  • Able to teach instrumental (piano/keyboard preferred, but open to other instruments) and vocal lessons
  • Flexibility to help with choirs if needed
  • Utilise available technology
  • Supervising students in timetabled classes, occasional supervision periods, on Grounds Duty and at School functions that staff and students are expected to attend



About you

You:

  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT
  • Have experience working with the Kodály method
  • Are a highly experienced music teacher and excellent role model
  • Uphold and support the School’s Christian philosophy and approach.
  • Participate in School Committees as appropriate to share ideas and contribute to the development of teaching excellence.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities in order to keep abreast of changes in education and appropriate subject areas.
  • Are an excellent communicator
  • Deal with student behavioural problems according to the School’s philosophy on behaviour management and discipline.
