Established in 1930, our client is the leading Australian manufacturer of cosmetics, sun care and skin care. They specialize in formulating and producing high quality products for leading retailers as well as local and international brands.

This high profile market leader within the FMCG Cosmetics space is seeking a dynamic National Key Account Manager to join their team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be given the responsibility to manage and grow existing accounts as well as develop new accounts and channels.

Accounts include:

Big W, K Mart, Chemist Warehouse, David Jones, Priceline, Target, Distributors and Reject Shop.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Development and implementation of strategic business sales plans,
  • Achieving and exceeding set budgets, monitoring retail activation and implementing promotional activity
  • Developing promotional planning guidelines and commercial objectives and presenting point of purchase strategies
  • Manage trade spend, utilising annual trade promotion budgets
  • Manage all category analysis, leveraging category data to increase sales opportunities
  • Working as a strategic partner, building a strong commercial relationships

To be successful in this role, you will ideal have:

  • Previous National Key Account Executive/ National Account Manager experience
  • Previous experience in managing retail accounts
  • Proven experience in delivering strategic business plans increasing sales and profit
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Passion for skin care, well being and personal care
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Intermediate MS office skills
  • FMCG/Consumables experience highly advantageous
  • Business Degree preferred
  • Drivers license and car
