Would you like to work in the government sector? This is a great opportunity to work for Land and Housing Corporation within State government as a Program Officer in Orange.This is a contract role until 31st December with the possibility of extension.In this role you will be responsible for:Supporting the local administration and delivery of the departments maintenance contract Providing contract administrationEnsuring work is completed correctly and on timeCreating strategies and action plans to rectify work issues where applicableDeveloping scope of workEnsuring compliance with the Australian Building Codes, LAHC standards, polices and Contract requirements when issuing work to contractorsSupporting with any complaints received Please note: There will be some travel required for this role as you will be required to go on site to give office estimates and negotiate quotations with contractors from time to time. The candidateYou as the successful person for this role will come from a similar maintenance administration background who will be able to meet the essential requirements for this role which are:Understanding of the Australian Building CodesUnderstanding of Property Assessment Survey (PAS) dataThe ability to work autonomously and be adaptableYour hours of work for this role will be 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday but you may need to be flexible on start and finish times depending on urgency of work.
