The company

My client is a privately-owned management consulting firm based in the CBD. They work with both major blue chip and public sector clients on solving real world problems. They offer valuable advice and solutions to clients on a wide range of topics such as:

- business improvement

- procurement and sourcing

- contract management

- program evaluation

- governance and assurance

The role

This role is a maternity leave cover role for 12 months. The role is part time, with flexibility on hours worked between 15-25 hours per week. Currently the Office Manager works 15 hours over 2 full days (Thursday and Friday).

  • Document formatting on MS Word for proposals
  • Proof reading
  • MS Powerpoint presentation preparation
  • General office upkeep- stationary orders etc.
  • Event coordination
  • Answer general incoming queries via phone
  • Supporting 6 management consultants for various administration duties

The candidate

To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

  • Be available to work between Monday- Friday on a selected 15-25 hours per week. Same set hours.
  • Previous Administration experience
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Word formatting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A willing and can do attitude to support a team of consultants in a fast paced environment
  • Enthusiastic and able to communicate well with the team
