About our client:

They have been operating for over 20 years and since then they have grown from having a reputation as a construction and building specialist, to becoming traffic and security partners for some of Australia’s leading companies.

About the opportunity:

They are now looking for an Operations Systems Administrator to join the team in North Fitzroy, Vic with an attractive salary of $50-55k base plus super.

You will provide strong administrative support to the Operations team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring all job orders are entered into the system, applying the correct bill and payment agreements
  • Reviewing of previous days job orders are entered and correct
  • Attending timesheets queries received from payroll and systems maintenance coordinator
  • Calling relevant site contact or candidates to confirm query
  • Liaising with site contacts to ensure the site allowances is set up and maintained for all sites
  • Ensuring the candidate profiles are up to date with availability
  • Ensuring customer portals are set up for new site contacts or clients
  • Master record maintenance including:
    • Contacts are current with completed contact information
    • Contacts are inactivated when they leave a client
  • Creating and running reports as requested by the Operations manager
  • Attend team meeting to review work progress and achievement of team set targets
  • Maintain and enhance the organisations reputation and image within the community bye developing relationships that reflect the Organisations
  • Maintain and assist in the delivery of optimal occupational health and safety standards in accordance with Organisational guidelines

About you:

The successful candidate will need to have the following core competencies/capabilities

  • At least 2 years working experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience of working in an operational environment
  • Good understanding of the construction industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft office software knowledge
  • Ability to work flexibly and demonstrated a willingness to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods
  • Previously work experience in a customer relationship role (desirable)
  • Understanding of modern Awards/EBA’s (desirable)
  • Be positive and self motivated
