Diploma Trained Educator – OSHC – Part – Time

*Not for profit community centre looking for their next Educator*

Chance to join dedicated staff within this service that provides a fun and exciting atmosphere for children and families attending the service. This role will see you working 27.5 hours a week, 5 mornings and 5 afternoons, creating a great work life balance. These shifts will be 7am to 9am and 2.30pm to 6pm.

Your role will include

  • Assist the coordinator and team in their quality programme and be the responsible person when they are away
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and team members
  • You must have experience with My Time Our Place

The Centre

You must be reliable and be able to make decisions autonomously when the Coordinator is away, the service is going to be increasing to 150 people so need strong and committed staff members.

This service has been established for 30 years, they are a not for profit organisation and are run by a voluntary committee. They are constantly striving for their best quality and create a fun and interactive programme in a caring and nurturing environment.

Vacation care is run in the holidays which provides more ours and a fun vacation programme for children and staff.

Involvement and participation from staff management and children base the main structure of the programme within the service. Children are encouraged to participate in free play and planned experience for the best balance, with diversity being embraced at all times.

To be successful you MUST have

  • Current NSW WWCC
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Completed Child protection
