We have recently partnered with a beautiful OSHC located in the North Lakes region. The service strives to create a space where each unique child or young person is provided with an interactive environment that allows & promotes play, growth, learning while developing each unique skill set. Their quality Educators nurture each child's strengths and interests, providing opportunities where children can have fun, explore, socialize and expend their interests using a variety of experiences.

For this position, we are specifically looking for an experienced Coordinator who has worked in a leadership capacity and enjoys a good challenge! As a Coordinator you have the autonomy to plan and implement your own OSHC programme, establish strong relationships with the P&C and lead, develop & manage an experienced team of educators.

Overall, together with the support of a fantastic 2IC and dedicated Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the service on a day-to-day basis, implementing and leading fun and engaging programmes!

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children
  • Strong behaviour management experience
  • Develop and evaluate a FUN and engaging program
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community as well as the P&C
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead, coordinate and supervise your team of educators
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child care and early learning practices and issues.
  • Effective time management, people management and interpersonal skills.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Diploma of Children’s services or ACEQCA recognised equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • An awareness of and commitment to the National Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake
  • Working with Children check/valid Blue Card
