job description

I am looking for someone to assist in the provision of a high quality out of school care program which meets the expectations of the families and children. This would include but is not limited to; assistance with programming, menus, rostering, liaising with families and assisting with enrolments, planning, rostering and ensuring he safety of the children within the centre.

As a 2IC Coordinator your role will be to engage the children in fun, structured activities. You will assist the Coordinator of the OSHC service in the Day-to- day management of the service and will step up in their absence.

The Coordinator will provide you with support and direction in your role in the osh service, however there will be a view to train you to a higher level should this opportunity arise.

This role will be located in Epping, Sydney NSW. Hours between 10am-2pm, 4/5 days a week, however; hours are negotiable.

Essential Requirements:
• Current Working With Children Check
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Confidence operating Apple Macintosh and childcare software
• Ability to work in small team contexts
• Time management and organisational skills


Desirable Attributes:
• Previous experience working in OOSHC contexts
• A current certificate in HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education
and care setting
• Approved child protection qualification
