Randstad Education are seeking highly motivated and professional OSHC Coordinators for multiple roles across both Northside and Southside - Canberra. These roles are within a not-for-profit community organisation and are available for an immediate start.

The Coordinator is responsible for leading the team whilst ensuring the delivery of a high quality program in line with the relevant frameworks, as well as building strong relationships with the children, families, school personnel and colleagues.

If you are working towards or have relevant tertiary qualifications in Children’s Services with extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a supportive and inclusive environment for families, including children with additional needs
  • Ensure a high quality service which complies with all regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Managing employees’ performance using a formal process as well as through coaching and mentoring
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and optimise financial resources through the close monitoring of your budget
  • Ensure that all staff and volunteers are aware of their responsibilities in relation to work health and safety and other policies and procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or currently studying towards
  • Working with Vulnerable Peoples Check
  • Relevant Leadership Experience

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience in a leadership position in before and after school care
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative and being able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
