About the role
Due to heavy workload, a great opportunity for an experienced payroll administrator has arisen to work within the organisations accounts and administration team. This role will see you overseeing the payroll process and working closely with an outsourcing provider delivering the payroll. Please note: this role is to start immediately, working between the hours of 9.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday (small amounts of overtime may be required)
You will have a strong eye for detail and need to possess a solid understanding of payroll processes. Proven experience working within payroll previously is essential along with the ability to push back on stakeholders when required. You will enjoy working in a team environment and work with a "can do" attitude at all times. Strong technical skills are highly desirable, with an understanding of the following;
- Coding and the processing of time sheets
- Interpretation of awards and certified agreements
- Ability to process manual calculations on remuneration
- Life-cycle of payroll processes
- Strong eye for detail
- Experience and knowledge of payroll systems and processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement
- Works well to tight deadlines
