We are looking to hire a a payroll officer for a local organisation that has served the area around Frankston for decades.

The role is working within a multi-site business and acting as a payroll administrator reporting directly to the human resources manager.

You will be:

- Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll.

- Ensuring the payroll master data is up to date.

- Ensuring that all information on tax rates, superannuation, changes to pay rates in the system are made up to date.

- Post Payroll reconciliations and filing.

- Remittance to ATO, superannuation funds and other relevant organisation.

- Preparing the EOY remuneration declaration.

- Preparing payroll reports or providing statistics as appropriate.

- Assisting staff members with payroll queries.

- Administering the staff benefits program, gym memberships etc.

- Liaising with the super funds to provide correct information.

- Processing salary sacrifice deductions.

- Processing staff leave and maintaining leave records.

- Helping co-ordinate long service leave arrangements.

- Complete calculations to ensure EBA is correctly reflected.

- Maintain personnel files.

- Reporting.

- Assisting with WorkCover.

- Assisting with the on boarding and recruitment administration.

- Administering some HR functions including contracts adminstration and organisation charts.

Experience required:

- Significant amount of payroll experience.

- High degree of confidentiality

- Good attention to detail.

- High degree of autonomy and integrity
