A registered and accredited special assistance independent school, is seeking a secondary teacher to teach Stage 6 Community and Family studies, and Sport Lifestyle and recreation at their Senior Campus opening in 2017.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Sound knowledge of the Stage 6 PDHPE syllabuses and the associated HSC assessment and reporting requirements.
  2. BOSTES Teaching registration.
  3. Strong written communication skills, with the capacity to plan and write units of work for both BOSTES and VET Courses.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with students who are experiencing mental health issues and the impact of complex trauma.
  5. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships to engage students, and parents.
  6. Ability to implement a range of strategies to enhance the wellbeing of students.

This role is based at Marrickville and will start in January 2017.
