Randstad Education London are now recruiting for a qualified Primary teacher - Permanent

Sept 2017 or Jan 2018 start

Our client

The school is located in Ilford (Borough of Redbridge). This school is bigger than average-sized school as they are currently expanding to become an all round 5-form entry school catering children from nursery to Year 6.

Similar to the other schools this school is easily accessible by public transport. The closest link would be an underground station, national rail or buses.

Their last inspection was in 2014 and they were classed as being a “good” school.

Children in schools in East London come from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Many of them would be bilingual. The classrooms would normally vary in sizes but a maximum of 30 children would be accommodated in one class usually.

Your role as a teacher in this school will require you to:

  • You will be a KS1 - Year 2 teacher ( age 6-7)
  • Deliver the UK curriculum on a daily basis
  • Confident in using public transport
  • Able to think on your feet and handle difficult situations in classroom
  • Plan and prepare outstanding lessons with help from Head of Year
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work well in a team environment
