Working for an industry leader in the building, construction & infrastructure space, this large organisation is looking for a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead their OPEX Repairs & Maintenance procurement function.

Ongoing growth has placed this organisation as one of the largest in its field, both in Australia and globally.

The role

Sitting within the Procurement & Finance teams, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring best value for money and management of Service & Maintenance related category items.

This role will require a influential and driven PM to ensure ongoing cost savings, well maintained supplier relationships, risk reduction and revenue increase.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify all the category requirements, product specifications, service requirements, spend drivers.
  • Develop strategic Category Plans.
  • Strategic Sourcing.
  • Complete Market Assessments.
  • Achieve optimal value savings.
  • Facilitate RFX (incl. draft, evaluation)
  • Risk Assessments.
  • Create drafting of supplier agreements, KPI, Service & Product requirements, service standards and technical specifications.
  • Supplier negotiations.
  • Manage the supplier life cycle, from contract management, supplier relationship management to contract end.
  • Monitor and report supplier contract KPI performance, compliance requirements, risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Promote and actively develop internal supplier compliance through all levels of stakeholders.
  • Production of Category Reports monitoring overall performance and identifying new opportunities.
  • Understand the domestic and international supplier markets and inform stakeholders of innovative developments
