Our client, this constantly evolving State Government Department within Adelaide currently has 3 exciting Procurement opportunities available. These roles can commence now or early in the New Year, dependant on your availability.
There is a 12 month role ASO4 available, as well as a 3 month and 12 month role for ASO6.
The Procurement Officers are responsible for the development, negotiation, documentation and management of contracts. These individuals are responsible for leading and implementing procurement strategies and plans that support the delivery of best practice outcomes. The Procurement Officers will join a specialised team, utilising their expertise in providing services to meet specific commercial requirements.
This role will assist with contract management processes including compliance and governance in procurement as well as coordinating relevant, timely and quality performance analysis and monthly reports to ensure proactive procurement management practices.
The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively within the team ensuring value to key stakeholders and that services remain aligned with overall procurement and department strategies.
We are seeking candidates with considerable experience in a strategic procurement environment. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills are a requirement of the role.
State Government experience will be highly regarded, Oracle skills will also be advantageous.
