Our client is a leader in its field providing innovative Payments and Cash Management products, technology applications and solutions to its Corporate & Institutional customers.
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, experienced Product Manager to focus on the Corporate Card or the Employee Benefit Cards portfolio, supporting key stakeholders in reviewing and enhancing their range of liquidity products.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating product initiatives for existing or new products, coordinating market research, overseeing development and managing the new capability rollout as required
  • Delivering on major projects
  • Function as a Subject Matter Expert for your portfolio
  • Contribute to the growth and profitability objectives by identifying and translating market opportunities into new business revenues for the bank
  • Manage assigned product profitability, cost and margins, and decide customer and portfolio pricing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good technical knowledge of how cards fit into the core transactional banking product set
  • An understanding of the current business environment, new technologies (such as VCN, tokenisation, mobile apps), best operational practices and card schemes
  • Proven ability to conduct opportunity analysis and understanding of product economics
  • To be familiar with fraud strategies relating to cards
  • Strong project management, presentation and marketing skills
  • Outstanding relationship building and management skills, with the demonstrated ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
