The program support coordinator provides high level administration support for the Rail Operations Delivery team. The role is to support the Principal Trainers to provide up to date reporting and analysis on program status including upcoming graduations and Not Yet Competent results.

The primary functions of the role are as follows:

  • Use high level excel skills receiving and scripting results for training using excel
  • Daily maintenance of stream reports ensuring and maintaining the accuracy of data
  • Provide document management services including a high level of attention to detail for filing and other system based records management processes
  • Maintenance of Trainer Matrices including the management of all Competence Assurance activities and vocational currency requirements in line with Trainers professional learning plans
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of business processes and operational goals including reviews and development of procedures, processes, training packages and support tools
  • Ensuring appropriate training resources are available at the locations required these may include courseware and iPads
  • Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the position as assigned by the Manager.
  • Maintain Trainer and operational currency by adhering to Competence Assurance requirements and the Trainer Learning Plan
  • Be accountable for the timely recording of training data

Skills required:

High level excel and computer skills in order to provide up to date and on time reporting to both learning and Delivery and Sydney Trains Executives

Ability to provide statistics to support the ongoing management of the Driver and Guard Initial Employment Training and the Rail Operations Program Manager

Ability to coordinate, prioritise and escalate requirements in order to support the ongoing management of the Rail Operations programs.
