About the role

The Project Manager will lead, plan, resource, drive and control project delivery in accordance with Intrec systems, procedures, policies and values. The Project Manager will develop a construction strategy and program to ensure effective planning and monitoring of projects and will undertake effective risk analysis to mitigate any project risks. The Project Manager will have a high regard for safety and will actively seek to reduce risk and support the health and safety of staff throughout the project.

The ultimate goal of this position is to lead and motivate a team, including partnering with subcontractors, to achieve flawless execution of projects within the contract duration, within scope and under the assigned budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and will be skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects they oversee. Ideally, they will have a ‘can do’ attitude and will thrive when planning projects and working within teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for Intrec's clients.

Main Duties

  • Plan and manage the project from start to final hand over
  • Responsible for all resource allocations
  • Full project management, various sites at a time
  • Compliance with the WHSEQ policies and procedure
  • Record progress of site operations and sub-contractors
  • Compiling reports for the construction manager
  • Ensure delivery and budget is in line at all stages
  • Maintain client and stakeholder relationships
  • Building and maintaining client relationships,

Skills and Experience Required

  • 3 years experience being a Project Manager
  • Record of delivering high rise projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Contracts, Cost and time management experience
  • Ability to work across a number of projects at any one time
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Can develop and maintain good relationships
  • In depth knowledge of the lifecycle of projects/construction
  • Can work under pressure and multitask
  • Construction related degree
