job description

This reputable NSW rail organisation requires an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major railway signaling maintenance program.

With Sydney as your base, working out of a modern office, you will spend about 25% of your time on various sites across Sydney. The core focus will be to deliver the maintenance and renewal of existing signalling infrastructure.

You will be accountable for the delivery of project outcomes in line with the major works division’s annual program of work, which will require you to coordinate and manage projects of a single (signalling) or multi rail disciplines (civil, structural and building).

Your ability to manage project scope, cost, schedule, risk, quality, communications and change controls will be key along with strong stakeholder management (internal and external).

A positive, driven attitude and self motivation along with strong leadership skills are essential. You will come from a background in railway signaling within the delivery of construction or maintenance projects and hold a Degree in a relevant discipline.

This is a great 12 month contract that is likely to be extended. Ideally we would like someone to start by the end of June but could hold out a little longer for the textbook candidate.

This role is paying a generous $1,150 per day + super.
