Our client is a solution focused technical services organisation, which provides physical assets, needs and goals implementation in the areas of Building Services, Infrastructure and Telecommunications.

In addition, this firm’s geographic footprint stretches across 25 locations Australia-wide and is growing due to major infrastructure projects based out of Broadmeadows, Western Suburbs.

Role Description

Due to continued and sustained growth within all sectors of our client’s business, we are now seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team located in Melbourne (Western suburbs), with responsibility across Victoria.

You will be delegated to deliver value on the below tasks:

  • Provide direct support and assistance to develop, implement and maintain quality assurance documentation.
  • Ensure sites comply with quality policy and procedures.
  • Resolve quality problems
  • Provide advice and assistance as well as monitor quality requirements of staff and subcontractors.
  • Audit quality management across all workplaces and advise senior management of results.
  • Participate in regular management meetings.
  • Initiate and report on quality assurance meetings held at workplace, division and local events.
  • Responsible for implementing, managing and training QA across the business groups
  • To monitor and check all QA paperwork
  • Manage product specifications - writing and updating
  • Monitor, maintain, review and update the HACCP plans with the team
  • Review and update all necessary documents when the process changes
  • Investigate customer complaints to ascertain the cause of the complaint and respond to the customers accordingly
  • Conduct traceability and recall trials
  • WH&S and company guidelines are adhered to

Key Skills and Experience

  • Engineering degree level OR as a minimum 5 years of experience within civil and/or Telecommunications industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and use of own initiative with a proactive approach
  • Showcased working knowledge of QA functions including internal audits and QA checks
