About the job

This role forms a vital part of our Blue Collar Construction team with primary responsibilities of resourcing and managing candidates. This will involve advertising, screening, interviewing and placing candidates into short and long term assignments. The roles you will be focused on are in local construction (labourers and trades) and for key clients working on gas fields west of Brisbane (electricians and maintenance roles).

The team is fun and energetic, but know when our clients need us we stop at nothing to ensure we deliver. You will report directly to Simon Gibson the Team Leader who joined the business 2 years ago as a consultant and in that time has progressed to running the SEQ Construction Team. This role also offers a unique learning experience as you will have direct exposure to two more senior managers in the Construction Property and Engineering business.

In this role, you will be continually developed and will be given your own personal development plan so you can map your growth within the organisation.



About you

Ideally, you will have a recruitment background and an interest in the construction industry. It is a high paced worked environment and you will love the challenge that is presented by consistently juggling a variety of tasks at the same time. You will be an excellent communicator, with a passion for achieving results. Randstad have a market leading recruitment process, so attention to detail and strong administration skills are essential.
