Our client is now searching for a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to be responsible for the adherence of global and local compliance regulations for national meetings, sponsorships and grants. This exciting full time role is based in Melbourne’s South East, approximately 10kms from the CBD. It is a 12 month maternity leave contract with potential to extend.

Key responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Contract management
  • Compliance – managing local compliance (Medicines Australia)
  • Regulatory administration and clinical trial documentation
  • CoA checking in compliance with registration
  • Product information and consumer medicine proof checking, TGA licences for importation of certain medicines
  • Financial/ Accounting – vendor management in SAP system
  • Maintain external professional relationships
  • Liaise with HQ Regulatory Affairs personnel to deliver solutions locally
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the affiliate administration team when required

Essential criteria:

  • Bachelor degree in pharmacy, science, biomedical/ life science
  • Knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong ability to recognise, analyse and solve problems
  • Database management (Excel etc.) and excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite applications)

Desirable criteria:

  • Higher degree
  • Extensive database knowledge (SAP, ORBIT, Mobile Intelligence, Contractshare, DocuSign)
  • Previous experience in Medical/ scientific/ hospital/ clinical trials environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance with knowedge and training on the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, with an emphasis on compliance with company health care professionals.
