We are seeking experienced Rescue Coordinators for a shutdown project in regional NSW in October this year. You will be responsible for:

  • supervising confined space entries and hazardous/high risk work
  • Ensure on site permitting procedure is completed
  • Detect hazard potentials
  • Implement, administer and assist with risk assessments as required
  • Provide support to sentry staff or hot works

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Be safety focused
  • Have a professional approach to your work
  • Hold Confined space entry permit
  • Operate Breathing apparatus (BA)
  • Be able to perform vertical rescue if required
  • Be able to undertake confined space rescue if required
  • Gas test atmosphere
  • Level II first aid

Experience in a rescue or civil service (such as fire or ambulance) or production sites, and oil/gas sites would be an advantage.

Key Project information:

Dates: Monday 10th – Friday 21st October 2016

Hours of work: 12 hour shifts, both day and night shifts on offer

Location: Tumut, NSW

Travel to and from site provided, plus accomodation

Meal and Travel allowance paid
