Managing the retail team,

Your duties will include:

  • Being responsible and supportive to a team of claims assessors and rehab consultants;
  • Strategy planning and innovation for improvement of the claims process;
  • Handling escalations for technical and disputed claims;
  • Reporting to the head and national claims management as well as liaising with other internal departments;
  • Driving development and training.

To be successful:

  • At least 18 months leadership skills in retail life insurance;
  • Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills;
  • Technically savvy;
  • A broad knowledge of and exposure to Income Protection and Total Permanent Disability.
