My client, an International Market Leader within the Technology and Promotions industry is looking for a Sales Director to generate interest in a new area of the business in Sydney CBD. Work for a global organization with very much of a start up feel, be a name and not a number.

This role includes a very generous base salary, car and medical allowance, as well as a unique opportunity to be involved with a share option scheme.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Come up with and implement a strategic plan in line with the corporate, retail and sales strategy to drive forward the brand of the organisation
  • Develop strategies that supports the overall sales roadmap
  • Ensure delivery of profit targets for the territory through management of the Business unit
  • Build and develop your particular division through new and existing client relationships
  • Build awareness and inspire partners of the business to promote the product in question
  • Be a strong and proud ambassador of the business
  • Utilize existing project management skills to lead the roll out of the product and new partners of the business
  • Sales management, promotion and content management
  • Work with the Regional Vice President to develop effective solutions for the best possible market execution


  • 6+ years of business development, business management, sales and account management – bonus if this is within an Agency or in the Promotions category
  • Examples of excellent experience in lead generation at senior influencer levels of consumer goods
  • Strong experience of working across a diverse client or customer base
  • Proven track record of successfully influencing in a matrixed organization
  • Highly motivated to deliver, strong back bone, excellent attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • More than comfortable and in fact thrives in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Entrepreneurial problem solver through creative thinking
  • Excellent at building long-lasting internal and external relationships
  • Energetic and enthusiastic team player with the ability to multi-task


  • Proven and excellent business development track record
  • Existing contacts within the advertising, marketing and promotions industry
  • Deep understanding of the promotions industry
