My client are a leading supplier of process pumps used throughout a wide range of industries.

They are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in the sale of pumps including expertise in pump selection for duty, motor sizing, fluid dynamics and chemical compatibility

You will need to have a proven sales track record with a hunter mentality, excellent customer service & presentation skills, plus a desire to problem solve customer needs into successful sales.

Your hands on approach and above average organisational, planning & reporting skills combined with a desire for intimate knowledge of the products you represent will secure this important position

Reporting to the General Manager, the scope of this role will include

  • Developing and growing market share
  • Managing the existing client relationships
  • Development of sales plan and strategy to maximize your success

Required knowledge, experience and attributes include:

  • Extensive experience selling a wide range of pumps across a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, water and wastewater
  • Proactive approach to selling
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Well developed reporting (verbal and written) ability
  • Computer literacy including MS Office suite
  • Customer service focus.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent client-facing manner with strong technical skills.
